As stated I was talking about another 15 over the LS6 on top of a H/C motor. 15 is the lowest ive seen, with 40ish being the highest ive seen

Man...I wish they had been more reasonable with their pricing. That is a ton of money. Especially when you can get the Edelbrock for about half that price. Of course, installed prices (extra parts needed) could change that. Well, the more I think about it, I would rather give FAST 5 times that price than give Vic Edelbrock a dime of my hard earned money...

Thinking about buying one in september. I have a 383 stroker with the tsunami cam from texas speed and the 5.3 stage 2 heads. Would I still want the 85 or go with a bigger one because of my higher ci?

The new one still isnt a bad deal considering what people are asking for the used ones. I see used 92s on here $700+ all day long....

Consider the Black 92mm is:

1. Nicer and New
2. Comes with hardware
3. Stainless bolts are holding it together
4. The TB mounts are now threaded inserts.

For an L33 would the fast 102 or 92 be a good option? Road racing oriented build

The FAST 102 is an overall better/newer design over the 92mm. If you are not concerned about buying new rails or using LS2/LS3 rails, Go 102.

The only benefit the 92mm has is the utilization of the stock LS1 fuel rails and fitment on corvettes.

after my converter, im thinking about picking up a fast 92, with a 92mm throttle body. will I gain enough to justify it over my current ls6 Ported stock tb set up?

Ya I would think so, sell that setup together for like 400-450.

The dollar to Horsepower....No, it really doesnt justify. Money can be spent elsewhere.

If you are trying to squeeze every last poney out of the engine, Yes. AND even than if that is your flavor...I would go FAST 102/92mm TB
