Yes that is their advertised gain over the ls1 intake and I wouldn't have a hard time believing it at all since I've seen ls1 cars pick up nearly .2 with the ls6.

This intake is sick especially now that it is in black. Hope they are here to stay, should've never left. Would've been a better marketing strategy if they would've released again during tax return season.

I was thinking of doing a LS6 on my Vette but hell might have to check out this intake instead.. If you have a stock LS1 with a CAI and catback if I were to get a Fast 92 and a 90 Tb would I need a tune to pick up that extra power? 20HP gain for 850.00 is a pretty good deal I think..

Very tempting, even with that price tag. Does anyone have a picture of an engine bay with one of these intakes (in black)?

Do you ship outside the US?

We can ship anywhere in the world, charges will vary.

The market disagrees with you, you can't buy a good condition used 92mm for that price. I don't really understand your issue, there is no need for your hatred here.

Well you can't find them
Cause they were discontinued, but it's a fair
Trade off, smaller intake, sacrifice a little power, get to keep your fuel rails. Or bigger, little more power, but you gotta buy rails. Seems like a fair trade off.

I take it you have a 102mm? 102's suck to fit in a C5, so 92mm are ideal. My experience with the 102 is a negative one for fitment and performance. C5 and f-body alike.

FAST 92 and 102 are within 5HP of each other, stock and ported. Too close to bitch about.. Pros and Cons of both.

Question

Any idea if you have to grind the LS1 water pump (as with the 102)? Also can someone elaborate on fitment issues of the 102 v the 92?

You do not have to grind the water pump.

Each intake has unique fitment issues on different cars. The 92 has less issues, with none on most cars.

Yeah I am not paying that much for an intake. I thought it would be less.

I think a lot of the water pump issues were with the 102mm TB which is why a lot went with a 92/102 setup. My 92mm TB is very close to the WP.

My 92/NW92 combo fit great. All I had to to was tap the LS6 collant crossover down about a quarter inch. Took 2 small taps with a hammer.

I'm still trying to decide whether to pull the trigger on a 102 or just get the 92. If they made the 102 in black like the new 92's that would be tempting.

If I got the 102, I would just end up getting an LS2 water pump instead of grinding on the LS1 pump. I also would like to keep the MAP sensor mounted in the back but from what I understand, there are some clearance issues making it a tight fit. I would rather not clutter the top of the intake with the MAP. I'll think about it. Seems they are both very similar in terms of performance with a slight edge going to the 102. I'll have to think about this.

Glad to have the FAST 92 back and I will be ordering one next month for sure.

This is also an incorrect statement......

But you F-body guys are tunnel visioned into thinking your vehicles are the ONLY ones that exist on this planet.... that went out of production 10 years ago.

You should just say "thank you"

Man, I'm not going to argue with you about this. But it is odvious that the 102 wasn't a big hit with the stock block guys. I know you have been a spokesman for the 102 forever and you are entitled to your opinon. You like the 102 , the majority do not like it and that's one of the reason I'm sure the FAST 92 Intake is making it's come back.
