Question Best Bolt on?

Hello, im a novice at engine work, and i have a 2000 T/A with LS1, Flomaster Exhaust, and a Granitelli Airlid. I recently Dyno'd at 327hp, and 325 FT lbs Torque, i was actually wondering, what is an all around good bolt on. i got about 5 or 600 to spend. What would be the best bang for the buck and not to terribly difficult to throw in but will still give her a bit more kick. I was thinking Headers, but i have heard that the stock headers were pretty free flowing themselves. Any suggestions? Also more is better so if there are multiple things for a bit more than 600 bones im still all ears

I vote headers also. 600 should get ya a good set of pacesetter coated longtubes. Might also be enough left over for a tune...

long tube headers would be your best bet than save up and loose the choke masters and get a better exhaust

I was thinking nitrous as well but he said $600 limit and refilling bottles will get costly depending on how much he uses it. A safe and well put together kit will cost more than $600 and hell need a tune no matter what.

Long tube headers have been my favorite mod so far. Do poly motor mounts while your at it. Even untuned I felt a pretty nice jump in power.

Longtube headers hands down. TSP's are stainless, you cant beat that for the price. If you dont care about stainless, go with the BBK's in chrome. Not the best when hooking up the headers with the Y but for about 350 you get the headers AND the Y and they turn a blue-ish color which some people like.

If the car is an auto, I think a converter beats everything else easily as the best first mod. I picked up almost a half second at the track with my converter swap, and by the seat of the pants, it felt even stronger than it measured.

If it is an M6, I would go for the LT's and an ORY if they are acceptable in your state.

If you are a M6, I would not spend the money a tune until you get a little more radical with the mods. With an A4 a tune makes sense with fewer mods, IMO.
