Default P&P TB after tune?

I've got an 01 Trans Am that has basic bolt ons. LT's, 3" ORY, cat back, lid, filter. I recently had the car tuned, and was wondering how it would be affected if I ported and polished my stock TB. Thanks for your guys help!

you'll be fine, the only thing you shouldnt do is port your MAF ends.

Hey guys ive been wondering the same thing. I just bought a 99 ss. Ive been wanting to P&P my TB but have heard so many stories of idle getting messed up.. that being said, i know that I should touch the MAF but will porting just inlet side of my tb make any changes? i dont want to get a tune just for porting it out, just looking for some throttle response and i was planning on porting it myself. Anything I should be concerned about or does anyone have any input from personal experience? Thanks
