As title says, bone stock ls1 with open headers, how loud is it gonna be? Or is it gonna sound terrible? Loud is plenty fine for me.

 

Well it will sound raw and just to loud to drive everywhere with. You would have to keep it low in rpm.

 

Real loud. I've had to drive mine open headers a couple times to get an exhaust shop to weld everything up and it's no fun. Sounds like it is going to rattle your car apart. It doesn't sound good either.

It sucks pretty bad. I had to drive mine like that for about 3 miles to the muffler shop and by the time I got there my head felt like it was going to split open.

 

I posted this for someone else asking about driving on open headers, so I'll repeat it.

I drove 45 minutes on open headers to get my car home from a shop, and it felt like I just f$%#ed a concert sub woofer. My ears rang for the rest of the day. Lol it also rattles the crap out of the car and makes the center console pretty hot.

Definitely not something I'd suggest doing unless you have to. Lol it's as loud as you can get, and that may be fine with you, but it'll make you a target for any cop within earshot (or a half mile or so >.>)

 

Sounds like crap for the most part and is insanely loud. Also a good way to ruin o2 sensors and make the car run bad.

 

Sounds real bad, i thought it would sound somewhat good with such a big cam but i was ashamed to drive it to the exhaust shop it sounded so bad
