pro's con's of carb set up
700 for the intake and brains, and however much for whatever carb. Dealing with carbs on older engines, it's easier to tune as a screwdriver and 1/4 drive socket set will get the job done. However, depending on how good you are at tuning carbs, you could see driveability and power differences.
Unless you don't already have the injection stuff or live half a world away from a decent tuner, I wouldn't put a carb on it.
For a nostalgic look on an older car, maybe, but you can make the best injection system fool old hot rodders into thinking it's a carb.

have yet to see an intake that wouldn't require you
to hack the cowl sheet metal - and one that didn't,
would probably suck for airflow distribution.

if the msd box dies ...your fscrewed unless you buy a back up.i have been wrestling this myself for my 83 c10.im more leaning to truck fi for my 5.3.but by the time you buy everything it all costs the same.around a grand.if you gotta get a fi harness its 500+fuel pump and lines 200 ecu tuned 200+ you get the idea.just gotta make your mind up.total power wise they kinda wash.driveability +mileage much better with fi.carb and msd box =easy to tune.
