Default 243 Heads Help

Just bought these 243 heads on CL for $200, the guy i bought them from said he built a 5.3 truck eng and put these on, and a few min after starting the enging he started to hear noizes and turned out he blow 2 rods and bent 3 valves on these 243. He bought them from a shop that did a valve job before and said they refaced them but didnt mill them but he was not sure. I went to a local shop but they said they didnt look to be milled but they were not 100% sure. I would like to put these on my LS1 and swap out my 853 for 243 with TSP 224r and LS6 intake.

CAN ANY ONE TELL IF THESE HEADS HAVE BEEN MILLED THE LOOK STOCK BUT IM NOT SURE! THANKS

you can measure the cc's yourself for less than $5 and 5 minutes. engine oil, cold medicine syringe, plexiglass, grease for seal between plexiglass and head deck. if done carefully, it is extremely accurate.

you can buy a piece of plexy glass and cc them your self.get a piece big enough to use 4 bolts to hold it tight.drill a small hole to add fluid.you can get the needle from a pharmacy.
