Odd exhaust sound When I bought my '99, it had a few tweaks, including a Corsa exhaust. I had been driving a 383 LT1 with the SLP LM, and liked how ti sounded, so you might guess that the Corsa didn't do anything for me.
Since the SLP LM for the Vette is straight pipe, and since the Corsa tips look nice, my solution was to remove the mufflers and bend some pipe to replace them.
It sound great other than a sort of 'fluffering' sound at idle. I suspect that this was caused by the "H" pipe I installed, but I'm not sure. Anybody had anything like this, and would changing to an "X" pipe fix it?

if it has an H as you say then someone probably messed with it? i had an almost similar sound on my old exhaust and it was because one of the bends wasnt done right and the tips werent straight. it was custom made. any slight bend can greatly alter the tone.
