2004 LS6 Valley Cover w/ built in pcv Need all part numbers.
Please let me preface this with I am aware of the old write up using the pre '04 valley cover, but this is for the more revised install. As far as I can find, no one has listed very clearly all the part numbers for doing the updated install as well as instructions. I know this topic has been up for discussion, but I need to hear from one person who has done this mod and exactly what parts they used. I am also not looking to do the catch can mod at this time.
I have done my research and it seems that the best route to solving a bad pcv and/or leak is to replace the valley cover with that of the newer '04 LS6 one that has the oil separator and valve built in. Since the pcv is built in all I would need is the hose connecting to the intake manifold and a cap for the rear driver"s side valve cover. These are the part numbers I found from searching all forums as well as the LS1howto page.

Here are the parts that I think I should order.
12577927 (valley cover, comes with bolts & gasket)
12594779 (hose)
12568011(driver's side valve cover cap)
1 5/16" vacuum cap (to cover passenger side valve cover)
Is this everything I would need to do the install and is it basically the same as the ls1howto, but with small variations to accommodate the built in pcv? I cannot have the car out of commission for long, so I have to order everything at once so there are no delays once I start taking apart the car.
Thank you for your input.

Been searching for the answer to this. If I were to order the new in built pcv cover, I can then delete the hoses wrapped around the intake dealing with the old pcv system? I have a 99 trans am.

Here's what one needs:
12577927 - '04 LS6 Valley*
12594779 - Valley to Intake Hose
12568011 - Valve Cover Plug
98-00 with LS1 intake manifold will also need:
12602540 - Coolant Plugs (must order two of that part number)
12602548 - Crossover Tube
*- You can reuse the red shipping cap on the breather line to plug the rear breather hose of the passenger valve cover. Otherwise, you need to find yourself an additional, generic vacuum cap.
You'll also likely need new manifold gaskets. 12533587 is ACDelco; 92438 is Fel-Pro.

and don't forget cutting is required, it isn't a direct fit, there's a piece about midway on the driver side of the valley that has to be cut to clear the ls6 valley cover, use lots of rags and grease to capture the shavings, I don't remember how much I had to cut off, but there's a measurement somewhere on this forum
