I took my cutout apart and sent them the bad pieces(motor pulling screws out of the gear box...) and called them, they seemed very helpful and willing to help. Well, here I sit 4 1/2 weeks later with nothing but an empty promise of "it's on it's way back you to today" (three weeks ago). I've called countless times over the last month and wrote emails a-plenty. I have been very nice and I try to be understanding, but I've had enough. time to start calling DMH's vendors. If anyone has a number that they will actually pick up, please let me know.

Well, the vendors that I have talked to all have the same number(513-753-3866) and it's been disconnected. One vendor was told that DMH is having a family emergency and that they have stopped production for the last few months. the guy makes them out of the house from what I've been told so i can see this being true.
one guy from multiproducts (makes the gearbox) is saying that DMH made an order last week for more, so I'm not too sure what is really going on. Let me do some more digging.

I might just start making them myself.

I bought my 4" DMH cutout straight from them about 1.5 months ago. It only took about two weeks to get and it's holding up okay so far.

Glad to hear it man, he seems great when you order something from him. It's the Guarantee/Warranty work that takes months. BBB gives them an F.

Umm hes been having a "family emergency" for about a year now. I think its time to move the **** on from that & get your damn business & if you can't run it then hire some people who can. Seriously tired of this BS I'm a one man team running this company & booked with orders, emails, etc etc. Um ok I'm sure theirs hundreds of people who would love to have a job answering phone calls, emails, building a cut out that works.

Why do you guys beleive his bullshit. He is a scammer. He is in over his head. Stop wasting your time purchasing his crappy products. Just go with QTP. Proving product. Supports their dealers and product.

Someone who lives nearby please go visit their shop and please report back the lowdown -- we need eyes on the ground! Is this a part-time business, or what?

Looks like David Hacker is the owner:

Update: Believe it or not, I JUST spoke w/him, and he says I can send it direct to him and he will swap it out to receive next week. I bought the generic 3", but need the Borla Adjustable 3" version.

Said he was out of town and some family comes first issues. This guy really needs to hire someone for customer service then, since I got no reply to my voicemail and two emails.

Picked up the phone and dialed at 12:05 PM on 11-Sep, mind you it was after my first unreturned vmail the previous week and two unreplied emails. I shipped my unit for replacement the same day.

I have been running a DMH cutout for 7 years and that covers about 175,000+ miles. Never have had a problem with it. I've ordered three or four my customers over the years and have never had a problem with Dave.(owner) All the orders were shipped out promptly. None of my customers who purchased the cutouts have had any problems with them. Just thought that I would post up some of my experiences with DMH to this lynch mob.

Yea well its kind of a ******* joke when the guy doesn't answer emails or phone calls. I mean the dudes voice mail is always full. Never picks up because of "family issues" um its been a year bro.. RUN your business right or don't do it at all. How hard is it to hire some kid to sit a desk all day & answer peoples questions. If you're going to have a warranty on your product you BETTER respect it! Anyone that asks about DMH I say buy something else without hesitating. If you know Dave tell him Brandon Wilcox would like a new cutout since he sent me one that was garbage! Or just send me the broken one that I returned back & Ill try & fix it myself.. Terrible business owner.
