Have you looked into a Texas speed h/c kit? They are very good to work with.

I would look at Vengeance Racing for one of their top end kits. Awesome numbers come out of their setups.

H/c with a 200 shot might be a lot for the stock bottom end.

in my old h/c motor i went with vengeance racing prices are pretty good only problem i had was communication between them and t.e.a. who milled the heads. texas speed is prob best bang for the buck and everything they do is in house.

TFS kit is not even close to being ideal and the power claimed is a tad high.

How fast do you want to go and how much money do you want to spend?

430-440rwh. One guy on here actually made 470 with that setup about a month ago. Push rod length is 7.4 I believe.

Trickflow 215 or AFR 205, Custom Cam, Fast Intake/TB is what you need. Look in the parts classifieds.

The kits we offer are true numbers based off the crank. Using the LS6 intake and with proper tuning you will see the 500 hp at the flywheel. On our in house engine dyno we have seen a 20 hp gain using the Fast intakes over the LS6. We know there are many manufactures out there offering different kits that may give you more power but we know for a fact that our kit will work and is very safe on your vehicle. Our kits where developed around the stock bottom end application where a customer is looking for a good gain in power and put about 450-460 at the tire.

Thank you for looking into our product line and good luck with your purchase.

500bhp does not yield 450-460rwhp.

Do you have any hard evidence to show that one of your relatively mild cams along with an LS6 intake will make your claimed rwhp numbers on a stock bottom end LS1 with your out of the box heads?

Sorry for my late reply guys.. I just came across this thread. Not sure if you have purchased a heads/cam kit yet or not. If not, do not hesitate to give us a call. We have excellent pricing on TFS Heads/VR Camshaft combos that include everything you need for a complete installation. We also have tons of build posts/results posted all over this forum.
