heat shield banging?
anyways i've kinda fixed the normal Pacesetter banging problems...like the driverside header and the ORY right under the driver floorboard...but now it seems as if i have another banging problem now but its comming from out back...i think there might be a heat shield or something that's hitting my pipe (the one that extends over the axel), anyways if i remove that is it going to cause any kinda heat problems?
or what if i just put some hi-temp rubber in there to stop the banging...will it hold up to the heat as well?
thanks
i know there is one right by each cat...but the one i am talking about is the one wayyyyy in the back of the car, right where the I-pipe bends over the axel?

I'd talk to a good exhaust shop..
My exhaust got tweaked before (big speed bump). The exhaust shop cut that section and repositioned it to move it away from that shield.
i pulled out my driverside one when i was putting on my headers, didn't put it back on...how important is it?
and what if i remove the one that i am talking about...the one overlooking the muffler...
