Default Hose diagrams??

Going back together with my new 243 heads and didn't label a few things properly. Although the air ad e g r are deleted, I can't figure out a few things. There are 2hoses on top of the valve cover I'm lost on and also the clip on the back of the LS6 intake. Anyone know where a good hope diagram can be found or answer my questions? Google was no help..

Here is a decent one from LS1 How-to. You will also have a big vacuum line at the back.

I can't figure out the crossover hose.. Do I need to pull the factory "nipple" off the stock head and put it on the new head then just run a connecting hope between the 2 value covers??

yes, brake booster at the back of the manifold. Are you referring to the nipple off the valve covers?

Yes, my new 243 covers didn't have one and it broke when I was trying to get it out of the old ones. The new value cover looked like it was blocked off anyways where that nipple would go.. doesn't make sense. This is literally the last thing I have to do before I can try to start car!

Those 243 were probably off an LS6. They eliminated the crossover on that motor and ran only vent tube from passenger side valve cover for fresh air and valley pcv setup to intake mani.

You can probably find a fitting at the auto parts store and 3/8s vacuum hose and setup your own crossover.

You still need to pull/vent the gasses out of the crank case. This was done via the valley cover on the LS6. You don't have the valley cover setup to do that. What year is your car? Were your old valve covers center bolt or perimeter? Will your old valves covers fit? They should if they are center bolt.

Car is a 98, had perimeter covers. Everything else is the same. Would it work to fit a grommet on the driver side value cover and connect the hose like that to the passenger side valve cover?

You could put a grommet on the driverside VC. The passenger side has no boss or provision for a grommet, so you will have to tap it and screw in a nipple fitting.

Yep and T fitting to connect the two sides, so you can run another hose to the fitting the intake manifold (just behind the TB). You need vacuum from the mani...

Not the best photo, but that vacuum hose running to the front of the intake needs to be connected to the T fitting connect your two valve covers.
