I have a drive by wire 03 5.3 and I want to use my current 700R4 but
I'm unsure if I can use drive by wire with a none electronic transmission or I need drive by cable. I've looked on LT1swap and it confused me because it said that my PCM couldnt support drive by cable. I will eventually be swapping the tranny ,but for my stock swap it's cheaper and in my budget to use the 700R4 can somebody clear this up for me?

If your ecu doesnt have an IAC driver, it wont support DBW. You could always get a new ecu (411) and harness from an earlier model with DBC.
I've also seen some pretty imaginitive ideas for a TV cable. One was mounted to the pedal assembly. I also saw a 928 that ran the cable pedal to TB like assembly that actuated the TV cable and turned the pedal sensor.
