Default Have an exhaust set up question.

I've look through I don't know how many pages and I can't seem to find a direct answer. I've decided I am going to get a TSP Rumbler exhaust but I would also like to replace the y pipe as well. I don't plan on doing headers so i'm looking for a y pipe that will be a factory replacement. So my question is, will the slp factory replacement y pipe be worth the 200 bucks and if so where can I find a 2.5" to 3" merge to connect the exhaust to the y pipe? Any help would be great.

Im not sure what your asking, but this is a aftermarket factory ypipe with cat delete, your catback should bolt right up to the end of it, this ypipe will go bolted to the stock exhaust manifolds and all the way back to where your catback I-pipe starts

That's pretty much what I was looking for lol. Wanted something to replace the shitty factory y pipe but that wouldn't require long tubes.

This is the one I have on mines, I don't know if it's because of the way it was installed, but I'm not impressed with it, especially for the money. Actually, the car has a nice exhaust leak right now because of it.

I like the SLP y-pipe as a stock replacement, plus it is a little bigger than the stock y-pipe(2 1/2 vs. 2 1/4) I installed the SLP y-pipe at the same time I installed the SLP PowerFlo exhaust. In my case it made the install easier replacing the y-pipe and the cat back at the same time, the y-pipe/i-pipe connection was rusted tight so I was able to just cut it loose.

Did you have to use a merge to go from the 2 1/2in y pipe to the 3in i pipe of the exhaust?

Both the stock and SLP y-pipe merges exit is at 2 3/4 which bolts right up to 3 inch cat back systems.

Does the slp y pipe remove the cats as well?
