As that sits, it wouldn't fit around a 102. The 102 is very very tight around the throttle body opening. Those AN junctions in the front wouldn't clear.

you realize i never said it would fit under a 102? i just posted a pic of what i made for my motor to give the op and idea of what could be done. there are lots of different fittings on the market that could easily be used to fit under or over or around any intake. i was merely giving an example.

im interested in your research here. your experience in tuning and boosted applications shows that venting the rear ports is unnecessary? please elaborate...

You're getting too bent out of shape here...All I said is I liked it, but I couldn't use it because I HAVE A 102 and it wouldn't fit.

Chill out...

You should go back and re read your posts and see who is getting bent out of shape. It wouldn't take much to make that setup work with a 102.

Also, many older small blocks have been drilled and tapped to bring water up to the front. The tbi engines and newer take water from that area of intake, and cross under the intake to the front.

The older engines without this water passage cast into the intake can and are modified to bring water from the back of The head to the front thru tubing and fittings, much like the stock 97-00 ls1's.
Use the Kurt Urban kit in the rear with a 90* fitting going into a high tempt hose and run it up front to a T-fitting installed in the hose that comes from the front factory steam tub assembly. That's how I did mine with my FAST 92 intake.

You don't need the whole kit, just the adapters for the rear with 45* fittings(needed with the FAST 102 intake) off the adapters. I'd then route it around the passenger side of the with the FAST and up to the front. Since you need to use the 45* fittings you'll need to figure out exactly what -AN fittings you need to use.

We were not able to fit the kit on the Magnuson due to the lower manifold design. It would work if the heads were just tapped to receive the fittings and do away with the adapters. It fits fine with the Whipple 2.9L without using a 45-degree.

There's no magic inside there. It is just a manifold designed to collect the vapor/coolant and distribute it back to the cooling system. We have also added the option for black lines or stainless.

Why would you want to tap the steam pipe into the waterpump on the pressure side? I thought the point was for it to be on the low side of the system?

Seems something like this would make more sense?

I don't think so. The way I see it would need to circulate through system. If it was plumbed to an area with the same pressure it wouldn't circulate? Isn't it routed to the low pressure side of the radiator from the factory?

well mine is
but the air /steam can then escape from the over flow tube i thought ?
in stead of being returned to the main flow
or does steam just return to lquid un like air wich needs to be bleed of from the highest point
