Default ssra or chris 1313 worth it?

I was wondering if there's a real benefit using either one of these. I had the SLP tray sucking in air from the bottom but removed it to mount my trans cooler to the radiator.

The way I see it the black plastic piece under neath our car shoves air into the direction of our lid correct? So why the ssra, Chris 1313, or SLP tray? I have a fast 92/92 with a fast toys 104 lid. Would there be a benefit using 1 of those air scoopers or is the bottom black plastic piece enough?

I watched my buddy in his cam only car pick up more than advertised. something stupid like 4 mph and .3 in the 1/4. Picked up enough that we had to tape the Chris1313 off at the shootout to slow it back down. It's a nice piece

Dam that much huh? But isn't that what the black plastic piece under our car designed for, to shove the air up toward our air lid?

that piece is designed to push air into the radiator.

the chrs1313 nonac setup took me from losing by a car to pulling a car vs a buddy who trapped 112. this was also on my own hack tune. the car wanted a lot of fuel 4k rpm +.

it depends on the type of cooler. a tube and fin might be fine on the condenser but a plate style might need to be moved.

I removed the condenser. And its the b&m cooler. 8x11 and 1 3/4. I have it mounted on the far bottom right of the radiator

You should be good then. As long as your cooler gets a decent amount of air flow to it itll be ok.

it was just the chrs1313 setup, nothing else. I had to add a lot of fuel after adding the part, it was very lean and knocking beforehand. at the time I just had a whisper lid on the car for air induction.

the car had longtubes ory muffler and lid before I added the ram air. no free mods. literally 3 mods.

So are you saying that the Chris1313 made your engine start to run lean and knock?

The difference is, the SSRA it's made of plastic and you don't have to cut up your car to install it. The chrs1313 is larger than the regular SSRA, however there is also a Mega Mouth version of the http://www.ws6project.com/user_stor/...-with-out-a-c/ It's huge and you still dont have to hack up your car, plus they are all cheaper. The WS6 store sells all three versions.

Hit me up with a PM if you have any questions.

I'm running the SSRA and really like it! I did it along with a ported TB, and it feels a bit snappier in the higher rpm's

My concern is from what s346k said about running lean and knocking. Would the Chris1313 cause that just from adding it and nothing else?

If the car is tuned right to begin with then no it will not cause that on it's own
