I can't wait till tax refunds!
I will be finishing up buying stuff for my H/C/I install i just need the cam and heads and all the gaskets and the right lenght pushrods when i find out which lenght they need to be.
My car is a '98 camaro z28 M6 with almost 130k. right now i have already installed on the car is slp air lid, ported tb, tsp 1 7/8 longtubes, ory pipe, lm2 catback. pro 5.0 short shifter.

this is what is going onto the car this march. I'm getting my cam and heads from lloyd elliot portswork and im getting the LE2 pkg the cam specs are 223/227 .610/.614 112 LSA and the heads are .02/1.60 valves
Patriot Gold Dbl springs, Ti retainers, locks and locators
custom valve job
mill, cleaning and assembly
flow about 305/220

I'm thinking about getting fast 36lb injectors or racetronix 42lb injectors ?

I'm installing a LS6 Intake, LS6 ported oil pump, LS2 timing chain, ticks master adjustable, gm slave cylinder, monster stage 2 clutch. and have hp tuner work done to it. What do you guys think of this setup ? and what about rwhp #'s ? the cam is good for 1500-6200 rpm soo i wont touch the rpm limiter. Ill be getting small stuff like a raptor shift lite, poly motor and tranny mounts.

I run the fast 36lb injectors...they are rated at 36lbs at 42psi but with our 58psi system they are rated around ~43lb injectors.

How so? Do you enjoy letting the government hold onto your money interest free? Personally i'd rather have it in my bank account.

looks like it'll be a fun driver, bro.....the cam is somewhat similar to mine, i'm guessing LSL lobes.....i made 401 to the rear wheels with shitty 806 stock heads, yours should exceed that by a bit.....36lb injectors should be fine......even though you're not going to spin it very high, you might want to add rod bolts......that's something i plan to do once i get my hands on a set of AFR's or TFS's

i'm not sure if you have to drop the motor or not.....maybe someone else can chime in on the installation......i haven't read much up on it, other than the 98's with decent miles are supposed to need them badly

if i could do it all over again, i'd just keep the stocker.....i'm running the March 25% UD and it's a nice piece.......but for the $$$, i don't believe i really gained anything HP wise

I heard you have to resize them, but the katech's you dont. If i have to resize them i prob wont do it. I wouldnt spin it to 6200rpm too often. but i would when i come across a race.

Yeah i prob wont bother with a UD pulley then.

I know of a couple horror stories of people I know in my life that under estimated their tax responsibility...lets just say it was not pretty.

I am not ******* with the government, I have seen what they can do to people.

Rather have enough taken out to get a return than go through what I have seen a few people have to go through that didn't. JS

Why did you choose the Lloyd Elliot heads and and cam. I looked into them but for some off reason I'm siding with Texas Speed. Hopely Uncle Sam comes through.

I will be, i worked alot of OT this year. I'll prob put 3-4k into it including install cost, new wheel and tire because the caliper bolt came loose and spun around the wheel while i was going down the road and chewed it up enough to put holes in my c6 wheel.
