which headers???

Exclamation which headers???

i have a 02 z28, i have slp lm1, i am trying to decide between the pacesetter lt or the tsp longtubes, i know the pacesetters rust over time and the tsp are stainless, but does the rust effect performance or is it just looks? the pacesetters sound awesome, i am curious do the tsp sound the same?

I have PS headers are there is no rust. They have been installed for three years. Either header would be a good choice.

awesome, how often is it driven? has it seen rain or anyting. how do you like them and the overall build quality?

pc headers are great for these cars its actually what i still have on mine. they have been on the car for a few years and the only rust is just on the collectors where it sees all the crap from the road. the primaries are still pretty clean. the TSP headers are also great and not much more money, and for the stainless you cant go wrong at all. i have a brand new set of TSP 1 7\8 i was gona sell but i think i will end up throwing them on they are just to nice lol

but my car never sees rain, or salt etc. driven a few times a week at most, i only put 2k on my car all last year so i didnt put that into account. guys that DD their cars would have better input i guess

if you have the money go stainless. They well last forever and tsp have amazing quality. My pacesetter look like crap. Im making the switch to tsp 1 7/8 stainless, but I have other priorities right now.

thanks alot for your info, i have a questoin, do headers make the car louder? or is it just because cat delete? would kooks headers make the car louder? it seems like pacesetters make it louder from videos

headers will make the car louder no doubt, sound difference from different header brands is minimal at best imo.

ive had KOOKS for almost 10 yrs with no problems. ARH imo is now the LTs to go with.

From my experience with the lm1 its been,

lm1 cat back only - tame
lm1 + lts + catted y - Loud / clean
lm1 + lts + ory - really Loud / raspy
lm1 + lts + ory + cam - Crazy / insanely loud

If you are worried about it being too loud you could always swap in a magnaflow / bullet muffler. Lm1 is an open pipe.

I have bbk headers with ory with an lm1 I'm fixing to change it to a borla. It's Loud and attracts attention.
