Default Fast 102 what Injectors/rails?

Plan on getting a Fast 102 manifold for the LS1 but no exactly sure if the stock size injectors will work or if I need a different size? And I see the rails are also different what is needed LS3? Basically what would be needed to do the swap I see there is a kit with adapters/rail but can this be done without adapters and use a factory rail? Hate to dump $250 extra for a kit on top the manifold cost if I don't have to!

We have inexpensive take-off LS2/3 rails. You will have to have one.

https://ls1tech.com/forums/parts-cla...-etc-sale.html

If you need slightly larger injectors to support your power from heads/cam etc with the project (I don't know your setup), we have takeoff LS2s in there as well. With those you would just need wiring adaptors for $60. Your stock injectors are longer than needed, but will work with an o-ring swap

I will probably be using 42lb injectors shooting for 500rwhp N/a so the LS2's maybe a bit to small but will the rails work if so what injector works without spacers?

You need midlength, LS2 length.

Yes, the LS3 will be too short and LS1 will be too long. Of course adapters and spacers are available. If I was going to do it all over again, I would have bought the LS2 injectors and harness.

The cheapest and effective way to do it, is buy an OEM LS2 rail >$100

Use your LS1 injectors and buy the spacer kit from CBM for $15

Sell your LS1 rail and you will not be out any extra cash.

Well i dont have any other than stock injectors right now and i need to upgrade them for the new engine i'm putting together so would it not be a better option to but the mid length LS2's and use the matching rails so no spacers are needed? I would just need adapter plugs correct? Which ones EV1 to EV6?

All depends on your budget. You can get 36lb 3 bar LS1 injectors cheaper than LS2 from "Fuel Injector Connections". Like mentioned, the adapters cost upwards of $60

Getting upgraded LS1 injectors with the spacer kit would be significantly cheaper than LS2 injectors with the adapters.

+1 on FIC. I have a set of re-jetted stock injectors 36@ 3 bar work great no issues, and a great price for a set of injectors

Do you still have to use LS1/LS6 injectors if you use the LS1/LS6 rails

Yes, because the injectors are different heights

So with those LS1/LS6 rails the LS1/6 injectors fit without spacers?

Yes thats correct. That rail is designed for the FAST 102 using LS1 injectors. No spacers would be required. IMHO if you were going to with the FAST rail, go LS2.

Well I will be using GTP injectors with my H/C swap so if I ever went with a FAST down the road, I'd just get the FAST rails so I could use my same injectors.

I'm running the Fast Rails here with stock injectors redone by FIC to 42lb. I got the line and fittings from VRD. Pretty sweet setup!

Why would you go with LS2 injectors? If your comparing stock LS1 vs LS2 I agree with the LS2. But I'm more referring to the aftermarket.

The FAST 102 is designed for eraser tip LS2/3 style injectors. The LS1 injectors work, but the are somewhat sunken in the manifold.

So not to hijack the thread. But here is my question. Im doing a 406 build. I Have the fast 102 ls1 style intake and tb. I have 42lb svo's from my prior build. What all would I need to purchase to complete the intake/fuel system?

May want to rethink the SVO injectors if they are the fat ones. They will rub the intake some clearancing will be needed
