Default LS6 to FAST92/92 worth the upgrade??

hey guys, i have an LS6 intake on my 2000 Z28 but i was wondering how much hp gains i would get over my LS6 and would it even be worth it? right now i have a 224/228 .581 .588 112lsa cam in the car and will be putting some P&P 241s and 42lbs injectors on later (before i would get the 92 combo).

I started the same thread a few weeks ago. Some say you can gain 20whp. I just ordered the fast 92/92. Going to get a tune after the install. I'd be very happy with 20 whp! I also ordered tsp headers/y pipe.

Before the FAST 90/ 90 TB, with the mods in my Sig, I made 399.2whp
After the tune with FAST and LS2 TB, I made 425.5whp

YES you will notice it.

a fast is worth the switch up from a ls6 intake as long as the car has a cam and heads behind it. If it was a bolt on car or just a cam only car it wouldnt be really worth the money until you have better flowing heads. I would say you would gain about 15-20 upgrading with your setup now.

I'm dealing with the same thing I have a LS6 intake and a stock LS1 TB I believe it's a 78mm and I have a PRC 2.5 5.3 Heads with 383 motor and headers with tru duals. I had a speed density tune done this past weekend and I made 427 RWHP and 425 Torque I was hoping for 450 but my TB & intake is holding me back. So I have been thinking about doing the same thing but it's 20-25 HP for $1,000 dollars or more but i'm planning on going with a good shot of Nitrous (200 or more). So I dont' know if it's worth it my car will see the track but not much mainly street car so I really don't know what to do go with a FAST and do a 200 shot or less or go with a Super Vic and spray 200 plus. I know i'm going to have to upgrade my TB just don't know what to go with intake, but it all depends on your budget and what you are wanting to do with you car......

Might as well check and see how much ported 243's will cost over the ported 241's.

Like mentioned above, it's definitely worth the swap. I picked up almost 20rwh/18rwt with my FAST 92/92 combo. The power is felt all over the RPM range.

Chaos, any dyno numbers with the peak speed ported setup? I'd love to see that since I'm considering sending them my new fast 92

If anyone in interested I will be selling my Fast 90/90 combo. I've decided to go with a edelbrock setup on my conversion for an old school look.
I'm also toying with the idea od selling my Texas Speed 5.3 LS heads ported & milled to 59cc 2.02IV/1.575EV (flow 312 cfm @ .600") with double gold Springs w/ Ti retainers. I may go FI & will use my bigger heads if so...

Thanks & LMK if anyone is interested.
