need advice for clutch selection

need a new clutch but i have never bought one before i need the entire assembly including throw out bearing and alignment tool would really appreciate any and all advice.. looking to keep around $300-500.. stock ls1 with ms3 cam swap.

centerforce makes some pretty affordable clutches

yeah i was looking at those they seem like a pretty good buy just seeing if there was any popular ones out there that i wasnt aware of.

I would consider an ls7 clutch kit, and call it a day. Very reasonable prices on them from multiple sponsors on this site.

spec clutches can be a shot in the dark.. you might get a good one and you might get a fail. I have a spec 3+ in my car now that has held up pretty decent.. although it started slippin with my first dyno tune now its even worse. I ordered a monster stage 2 for it from another vendor. it was only 579.. in my opinion.. go oem LS7.. or something like monster or mcleoud ..something of that nature.. you get what you pay for in this wonderful hobby.. jmo..
