Well I got a bit of work done last night, mainly hooking up all the small stuff. I am now playing the waiting game for some parts, I am waiting on my tsp 100mm maf and my rear end of course. I guess here in the next couple of days I will start pulling my old rearend out. Here are a couple of pictures I took last night. I still need to finish the pcv system on the car and I also need to put some oil back in it.

I took a couple pictures of my car chilling in the garage (it needs washed and waxed so bad!)

update: I was going to start the car last night but I lost one of the damned sensors that goes on top of the throttle body. Of course my luck that sensor was also 100$ So I will hopefully start it later today or maybe even monday because I still have some homework I need to do.

I didn't for one main reason, I have another engine in the works and my motor mounts were in perfect shape. So i will be installing them when I install my new motor.

Alright guys! I finally got the car running. This is open y pipe so it is a little loud.

I'll be putting the cat back on over at my dads work most likely just since it will be easier to get it all over the rearend.

Also this is with my stock maf and my smaller lid. It ran better than it did before lol

If I had to guess 450ish? I haven't drove it much just to my work and back home .3 miles. Honestly since there is no tune on it I started it up just to look for leaks. I sent off for a frost basemap tune so I can hopefully drive the car to my tuner to get it tuned and get a little bit of break in time on it to make sure it is all good. I am spending today to put the rest of my exhaust system on change the oil, plugs and get it ready for thursday when I should get my basmap tune and I will try to drive it around town a little bit to see how it does.

I actually have no credit card debt. I am "investing" some of the money out of the car I built when I was deployed. I liked this car so much more than the other I am taking my other car to stock. Plus uncle sam still pays me every month. Thanks next on my agenda is a new clutch as I don't think my ls7 clutch will handle the abuse and new wheel and tire combo

Hey guys it's been a little bit since I have been on here, I have been working out all the issues on the car and it seems to be running really really strong. I went and played a little bit last night as I am still waiting for wheels, tires and my rearend.

This is my friends new 2013 5.0 mustang I think it has a catback on it. I didn't really hook till we got going since I am on a really crappy tire.

I lost the belt in this video :p

Well not a whole lot has been going on with the car, still waiting on the rearend. I run into some issues on my very last pull with the car, one of the rear brake hoses had collapsed and siezed up the rear calipers. So I am going to go ahead and redo all the brake lines I am using steel braded lines and I thought it would be a great time to do a line lock since I am changine all the lines out. I'm also going to address all the suspension since it was a little....floaty at higher speeds. I will be looking to strange engineering drag suspension for the car since it is not something I drive everyday and will have the intention of alot of street/strip action. Here in the next couple of days I should have some pictures up of my further progress.

Nice build you got goin man I've got sort of the same setup just saving up to get a new rear and driveshaft is a pain. I'd check into getting some strange single adjustables or qa1s. I got the strange singles on all 4s.

Yeah I am looking at the strange single adjustables, it seems to be exactly what I am looking for.

So many of you may be wondering what is next for the car? After much consideration I am not going to do nitrous. However I have decided to do an lq4 and do something that I am familiar with turbocharging. For this year I am going to work on suspension going to get it all line out. I plan to run my current top end on the lq4 and switch the camshaft up a bit to something a little bit more f/i friendly. I should have the lq4 here in a week or so, I sourced one locally. I am going to change the rods and pistons and keep it stock cube. The turbo stuff I am already working on. I plan on running the huron speed turbo kit that is a/c compatible and factory manifolds. I should have alot of pictures of the process over the next couple of months.
