just installed a moroso 21150 oil pan windage tray and pick up on my LS based engine. along with a lokar flexible dipstick. having an issue with the dipstick not going in all the way. it stops about 3 inches short of being in all the way. has anyone else had this issue?

Did you figure anything out? How bid of a dia does that dipstick have. After thinking about it for the last couple hours the pick up tube sounds like a more likley thing to hit.

Can you put the trans dipstick in.

trans dipstick is the same style lokar as the oil dipstick. the dipstick is like an 1/8th inch in diameter i'd say.

pick up a f body set up bet it will slide right in. Prob hitting the pickup tube.

Don't mean to necro bump, but I had the same problem. Perhaps this will help others.

The Lokar dipstick hits the windage tray on this setup. I cut the tray a little with my plasma cutter and welded a small section on to support where I cut. I can post pics later.
