Help me identifiy this piece While I was under the car yesterday I saw this thing tangled up in the fuel/brake lines by the transmission. I don't know what it's for, so any help is appreciated.

I have a 4L60E. After some searching I gather this is a "vbp-vac" that the forced induction guys use for the transmission. My car is pretty much stock, and I don't know much about forced induction, so I really don't know what to make of this since it was tangled in there pretty tightly.

Actually I did notice a short length of hose that was disconnected, but I didn't have time to inspect any further, the car is currently in the shop, is this something to be addressed urgently? (As in before I drive the car again)
