Yes, they are stainless, no idea what wall thickness the ones they sent us are. We haven't decided on wall thickness yet.

We have a car supposedly coming in tomorrow afternoon for test fitment. Hopefully all goes well.

No group buys, but pricing should be fairly close to the current models after all specs are decided.

Thanks

TSP's Catted Y-Pipe should fit as well. We sold a set of our headers, and drop shipped one of their catted Y-Pipes to a customer last week. He said it was tight, but seem to work just fine.

When you do get them ironed out, can you please post a photo of a set mounted to an engine on a stand. I want to see how they hug the block. I'm build a 46' Harvester and have a 5.3L that's going in it. Need headers for it. Hoping I can run some longtubes rather that shorty headers.

Thank you..

We test fitted everything on Saturday. Everything fits perfect, better than our current ones actually. We will be putting our order this week hopefully. I am assuming we should have pricing etc by the end of the week.

Thanks
Sean

Sean, congrats on the fitment and bringing this to fruition. They really do look great, no doubt. Finally a product to put eBay headers to bed.

Notice one full length tube, no seam weld halfway down the primary... Again, they look like great quality. Hats off to you guys.

Definitely a great alternative to the eBay headers which we've since debunked. Kudos to you guys! If I wasn't so impatient, I would be one of your first customers!

As mentioned big props to Speed Engineering for not BSing everyone about where the headers are made. I remember back in day when XS headers came out and that whole mess.

I'm definitely interested when the second batch is available.

Thanks guys..

If we can swing it, will have a set of truck headers available by spring time as well.

Mavn: They look close to ours but no they're not our current ones. Our headers don't come with a bag of bolts, and O2 Plugs. We recommend using factory manifold bolts, and GM steel gaskets.

Thanks
Sean

So the actual application of these is for a 98-02 Camaro/Firebird?
If so, can someone please post a photo of how headers for these cars hug the block? I'll try google as well. I assume any header available for these cars will have to be shaped similar to fit. I've got an iron block going in a 46' International and the frame is very narrow up there. Plus I'm running a Jaguar suspension and the drivers side will need to be kinda snug to not get in the way of the steering slip shaft off the Jag rack.

I would say some where between 2-3 months we should have them on the shelf. We should have more details later this week. I am assuming pricing will be anywhere from 200-250.00 range.

Thanks

I'm interested in seeing floor and ground clearance. My car is super low and I'm holding off on headers because I can't pick just any setup.

Plus, did you guys get the builder to put the o2 bungs on the insides or are they goin to leave them on the outsides? I really don't like the idea of routing wiring over the exhaust...

Yes, the O2's will be on the inside of the headers. From the rear bolt hole down to the bottom of the collector it is 16". Which only leaves maybe a little more than 1/2" between the subframe of the car and the top of the collector.

Thanks
Sean

I don't suppose you have any pics of them on the car when you test fit them do you?

Oh, and get them in by Xmas. This little boys' wife knows that all he wants are car parts.

Nope, we have one but it doesn't really show fitment etc.

Thanks
