Running a 05 crew cab Z71 with duel exhaust and a Eaton M112 magna. The truck is running a 3.4 upper and making roughly 8 pounds of boost at WOT. I did have the truck on a mustang dyno a few months ago and it made good numbers at 370whp and 402tq. This is a stock cam/head 5.3 iron block 4L65 set up and the AFR’s and tune are on the safe side. I have been considering going to long tube headers since I have a small exhaust leak any way but don’t want to spend the money on a tune until I have the time and money to do a few other mods.

What do you guys think.

I think Texas speed has a long tube and Y pipe set up for the trucks, it was pricy when I looked into it due to the 4wd.

Exhaust would wake it up for sure, I would also open up the intake side of the Eaton as well... TB, MAF (if you run one) and the biggest air filter you can fit.

I am running a AFE stage 1 intake with pro guard filter on the intake side with the magna intake pipe. The truck has true duel exhaust on it right now so all I would be changing would be the manifolds and going with the armor coated pacesetters going off what trucks guys have told me.

You can always buy a steinless Y-Pipe off of Ebay, but your better off with True Duals. Specially if you pick up some more power.

My main concern was the location of the 02 sensors. With them sitting much lower away from the heads I didn't know if it would create a lean condition.
