TSP 1 7/8" LTs quick question?
Texas Speed 1 7/8" longtubes on 98 F-body. Driver side header go in from top or Bottom easiest? Took headers off while installing new 4L85E tranny, dropped driver side out the bottom with no tranny bolted up. Now, with the
4L85E bolted up the driver side does not want to go back in from bottom.
How did most of you install your driver side? Top, or bottom?

Never mind guy's, I got it figured out finally!
Had pulled the 4L60E out without taking the headers off. Decided after the fact that I might need to take them off to make the 4L85E install easier to go up with and access to put the bellhousing bolts back in.
Wound up unbolting the BMR crossmember and letting the tranny drop down some. Also had a bit of good luck and wrestled the driver side into place. Gotta say, there's not much clearance at all and it has to be rotated into place just right or its not gonna go!
Just gotta install the new driveshaft and buckle up the exhaust, change the engine oil and fill the 4L85E with lots of tranny fluid. That should have things about ready to fire it off again.
