Default A Few Bolt on questions

ok so I have a few questions about different bolt-ons.
for my 2000 z28 a4
within the next week I plan on doing a 3200 stall.

Exhaust!!
right now I have a hacked up half assed slp lm.
its a half *** job and its been cut on couple of times.
from what the previous owner of the car told me someone.
had replaced the factory pancake pipe and ypipe.
was replaced with a round tube for better flow.
anyway when I give the car acceleration that
pipe slaps the bottom of the car.
so when I do the exhaust I want to get some headers.
and im thinking about the magnaflow ls1 catback.
im looking for a deep aggressive sound would this work??

Heads
so im trying to figure out which heads I have will work best.
I have a set of 862 truck heads and a set of 319 heads.
I understand the 319 heads are low compression good for boost correct??
now if I was getting a set worked for n/a motor which should I go with.
in about 8 months maybe sooner I plan on adding a 228r cam..
just want to know which set I have would work best when worked!

Intake
sooner or later ill grab an ls6 intake
also the cold air system I have is some kind of.
half *** vette style cai system the filter is open.
and always gets dirty I would really like to go back to a lid style from slp!!

Never listen to others. Its ur car, and u will hear it all the time. Listen to as many youtube videos as u can, check ls1sounds, and pick what sounds good. Worked for me.

now is there a reason I should stay way from both set of heads I have?
the 862 or 317 I may decide to go boost one day is why im keeping the 317 heads...
the 862 heads from what ive found on here in some other posts they give some more lowend when worked correct?

If you think you may not need the low compression for a turbo in the future you could mill the **** out of the 317's and run them with whatever cam you decide. Know a couple people who have done that and it worked out nice. Just another option...

I would sell both those sets of heads and get some 243s or 799s

317's milled are the same as 243's so since he already has those it would be pointless...

Mill out the 317's or just grab a set of 243's.
No one can tell you what sounds good or not, it's all up to your ear.

He will lose PTV clearance going that route if he ever wants a good duration cam.

stick with your stock 241 heads for now, go bigger on the stall.. NO LESS than 3600... 3200 will bog on the launch with a 228r cam if you get it to hook up. IMO, no less than a 4000 stall, 4400-4600 if you plan on a cam swap
