quiet exhaust setup
quiet exhaust setup looking to quiet dwn my car im running dual with bullets im trying to quiet it dwn tired of the loudness of the exhaust i was thinking of adding some straight threw magnaflow muffler not the bullet type looking to see what setup other had that are not loud thanks

I have the what's about what you are considering and it's quiet until over 5KRPM and then who cares. Here's what's on my RX-7 (LS-1); Stock manifolds to magnaflow cat's to X pipe to the straight through Magnaflows and it's pretty good and NO droning. All in 2.5 inch.

The only problem with the Dual Dual is that its TOO quiet under normal driving and idle, at least for me. I originally had Loudmouth 1 and it sounded sweet but was a tad too loud and had A LOT of rasp. The Dual Dual is pretty loud at WOT but could be a bit louder at lower rpms. I am going to add a electric cutout, I think. I am debating either adding dual y-pipe electric cutouts and another in the traditional i-pipe location...so I can have various exhaust notes when needed OR getting the Kooks true dual exhaust and dual electric cutouts off the headers.

Yea right now it's crazy loud with lt and dual bullets I get up at 5am and I wake the whole block up and I get a lot of drone and Ijust got tired of the loud exhaust I wanted to quiet it down a lot and I was told the mangaflow would quiet it down I was gona add them on the other end of the bullets

Ive got some big long tubes, hi flo cats, x pipe and true duals with two Magnaflow 4" round mufflers, and love the sound. It doesnt drone as any RPM, idles kinda quiet , and not too loud crusing around town, but once I get on it, that bitch screams!!

Mine also on a 2.5 pipe I just want mine to sound like a slp dual dual I don't want it two scream no more lol I just want a nice tone but keep my dual I was looking at the magnaflow tru x muffler seems to be nice sounding exhaust
