Default LsX Intake Issues In Terms of Tuning??

Well I'm having a buttload of issues with my car right now that are keeping it from running right, making power, and being dyno tuned.

I have been going through the car with a fine toothed comb and am trying to nail it down. I am basically going and putting back any changes I nade since October when the car ran well right after I put my new motor in.

Only thing left really is the LsX intake vs the Ls6 i had on before.

What I'm looking for is any experiences from others that put this intake on and had things come up..what did your car do if anything i.e--lean way out, go way rich? Any other problems like that. My car is running very fat and can't be leaned out until I can get everythign to behave itself so it can be properly tuned. I have lsX intake, custom 78mm ported Tb, stock MAF with screen.

Any experiences/challenges from other LsX users would be appreciated, as I just need more ideas here.

I may stick a bone stock LS1 intake on it this weekend to see what happens and see if they LsX is to blame at all.

mine seemed pretty dead on using a descreened 85mm SLP maf (with cal resistor cut out) and the descreened 85mm MAF tables I found on here

I'm running the 90mm LSX and TPIS 90mm TB

understand if your intake isn't sealing for some reason that can be your who problem and you may not be able to hear the leak. Also check your MAF, a maf can fail -- it doesn't happen often but it can I suggest before you go to too much trouble you borrow someones known to be good STOCK maf and see how it performs.

as mentioned in my post the maf is bonestock, right down to the screen. i got rid of the ported one so i could have the car tuned properly.

i've done all i can to eliminate a vacuum leak possibility, there is no way its leaking to the best of my knowledge/experience, but i'm still afraid there might be something up with the intake and its leaking somewhere..putting a stock one on should clarify that
