Default Help! Tell me where this vacuum line goes

Hey guys,

I'm in the process of rebuilding the front end of my LS1 Trans Am. Could someone tell me where this vacuum line goes to?

It is routed behind the passenger side headlight

Thanks in advance

That looks identical to the one thats used for the HVAC that runs into the back of the intake manifold....but it comes out by the ECU not up front by the headlight.....

Vacuum lines aren't behind headlights. That is likely a windshield washer fluid line.

Looks like the vacuum canister hose. Should be a big black plastic canister under the car on that side

I 2nd vacuum canister. At least the end is still on yours. I found mine broken off and thought "where the hell did this go?" It's underneath the frame rail. It might be behind the splash guard where you can't see it. It's about the size of a soda can.

Hmmm. Thanks guys! Does anyone have a picture of the vacuum canister? I appears that it may be missing entirely

Here you go. I ended up buying one from a vehicle that was being parted out. I seen on the passenger frame rail where mine was gone entirely. Figured I'd post this up incase someone ever finds this thread via search.

It's hidden under a cover under the passenger frame rail.
