Holley Mid-Ram intake fitment
Holley Mid-Ram intake fitment okay guys ive got a 2002 Trans Am with a Raptor hood on it and im putting a boost motor together for it...i want a new intake and ive heard that the holley mid rams are good just wondering about the fitment under the hood and if i would have to cut anything because i would prefer not to ... any help would be appreciated, thanks

i'm pretty sure you'll have to cut the cowl and/or lower the engine:

because it is just their terrible dual plane dual quad manifold (which is strictly for looks on a street rod, it doesn't make any power) with a hiram top on it. the lower is so bad it doesn't matter whats on top

Sorry, I am too lazy to go look for it, but...
IDK about proven results over a FAST, however, in the dyno section the one group of engines that made more power w/ this Holley intake were forced induction engines. I thought the thread had matched the Holley vs an LS6 intake, though. There may also be results against the FAST. I just don't remember ever seeing it. NA, there was no improvement.
IMO, for the money, it's not a bad deal. If we had an FI engine, would use it.
