i know its a baffling for the PCV system, removing might result in high oil consumtion.

Wires are long enough. Got mine from sdparts.com instead of spending $ on tall covers. Though you have to watch when installing them because they rubbed on my HS Rockers. Once I seen where they where rubbing, had to hold them up a lil while tightening.

No, the wires are long enough as previously stated. The kicker is gathering the hardware and spacers for the bolts. Those skinny things that the bolts slip thru keep the valve cover from caving in when you tighten them to spec.

I fabed my own spacers but a friend just stacked up washers and glued them together. After you install the bolts and factory spacers the washers or new spacers wont go anywhere as they are cpatured by the bolt.

Hot Rods, money pit!!

If you do the LS6 valley for the PCV system I would think it would be fine to remove the baffle in the valve covers. I think the LS6 valley should be done on every car though since it seems to decrease oil consumption.
