To delete EGR, block off plate for header and expansion plug for intake manifold.

What does that involve? I know I need a block off plate on the headers. What else?

I'm new to this, so stick with my noobness.

Thanks!
I don't remember for 00s but 01 and 02 cars did not have the EGR system at all.

The pacesetter headers for 00-02 come with the ports for it. Like I said, I'm new to this so you'd know more than I would. All I know is I need the emissions provisions in Pa if I ever want to pass inspection again.

Here's a thought, maybe you can find someone who deleted the EGR of a 2000 car and install that on yours. Intake manifold is the same, just has a different spot on the headers I suppose. Good luck

I would just remove your EGR valve and plug the hole on the top of the intake manifold. I believe can still retain your AIR system even without EGR, so it should still appear as though you have all emissions. Unfortunately, you'll be getting a SES light unless you have the EGR tuned out.

Been driving around with these on for a little while (car is stored away for winter now). It is a bit raspy with the SLP LM2 exhaust, but not as horribly loud as I thought it would be. Very noticeable increase in performance. It accelerates like an entirely new vehicle. Fitment is fantastic. I don't think I lost any ground clearance at all. Check the pics...

That looks awesome bro! Did you use pacesetters ORY?
Also how is the smell is it as bad as people say?
One more question did you use those coupling bands or did you weld on the ORY?

Yes, I used the Pacesetter ORY. It smells pretty bad right now. lol I am hoping once I put the new intake and throttle body on and get it tuned that smell will go away. Can anyone confirm or deny that the smell will go away with a tune?

The smell will go away after putting some miles on it.
