Default TSP LT's, ORY to borla adjustable

Are the TSP LT's and ORY a direct connection to a borla adjustable catback or are there other parts needed for proper connection.

Trying to cover all the bases before the motor swap starts and all the goodies go in.

Yes, the Y-pipe merge will directly connect to the I-pipe

Prepare to do a little fab work on the y-pipe to make it connect to the I pipe. **** is not straight. I have this exact combo, was a complete pain but nice combo when said and done. Just prepare to be pissed off in the process...

Yea, the Y-Pipe is kind of a pain in the *** to get fitted properly while you're laying on your back under the car. If you have access to a lift I'd recommend that. If not grab a buddy and a 12-pack. Having two people makes it easier.

So whats the trick to getting it to fit correctly then.
Hows it sound depending on what plate you have in the catback.

The trick is you may or may not have to modify the Ypipe for correct fitment and ground clearance.

When I had mine, I just left the plate completely out... It sounded amazing.

Here's how it will sound, my car is the firehawk. But I have a cam and the dmh borla specific cutout and in this video its wide open.... its an idea of how loud it will be


I had to modify the driverside of the ypipe where it connected to the header.

The best way to get everything to line up easier is to loosen the bolts at the manifold flange quite a bit. From there you can put everything on and adjust it to where you need it. Then tighten the manifold bolts back down to sink everything up. Doing it this way allows a lot of maneuverability with the system and makes the instal a much easier task.

This. My TSP y-pipe fit like a glove with PaceSetters and factory I-pipe. The only issue I had wasn't fitment; rather, it was a clamp that wouldn't seal (I had to buy a TorcTite).

Haven't ordered my headers yet but going to get them this week.

The above tidbit of info may be good to put in the installation instructions. If it works that much easier which I don't doubt it could really save your company a blackeye on product fitment complaints that are always posted.
