Im doing my L92 swap, got the L92 intake. But I need to know if a 102mm Throttle body fit the L92 intake. I know its not optimal as the Intake has a 90mm opening.

But if I can dremel it open and fit or mod it to work with a 102mm throttle body let me know if thats possible.


If not I can try a 92mm. But just thinking future plans for the truck.

 

You could sell your 102mm TB for probably more or equal to what you could buy a brand new 92mm TB. That would be my plan of attack.

 

IIRC, when I measured my LS3 manifold, it came up to 94.4mm or something like that, so to hit a 102 opening, you'd probably be close to the o-ring groove, if not in it. I'm running a 96mm on the stock opening. Considering you're talking a 102 on a 90, I'd pick up a 92.
