They exist. 58cc chambers. 2.00" intake and 1.55" valves.

They flow 300cfm.

And they are under $2k. Summit has them.

I'm going to see if TEA is planning to do anything with them. Maybe open them up a bit... add PM guides.

You're all about these TFS 205cc heads today, aren't you? You really think the Helion cam would clear them?

I wouldn't be so sure the hellion is even for me. When Ed and I talked last, we were going to do a tweaked Street Sweeper, which is something I'd still like to try.

I sent an email to Darin and am waiting to hear back.

I already know the price for the Frankenstein TFS heads.

UMMM they already have the PM guides....I'd stuff a GM hollow intake in
there with a sexy VJ/backcut and a Ferrea 1.575 exhaust and some BTR
coil thingies....Dont really know why they only market these as a 5.3 head.
Badass lil 13.5 degrees for sure !!

You're right.

Damn. So you could run them as is with a valve spring swap.

I am all about them. They have greater than stock PtV clearance. Basically, any giant cam you can stuff into an LS1 that will clear the stock heads, will clear these... but you end up with 12:1 CR with a Cometic .040"... perfect for something like a Polluter v2, Hellion, modified Street Sweeper, MS4, etc. Plus, the CSA and 300cfm capability make them a much better match with those giant cams with late IVC. The compression and velocity help a LOT with their streetability.

Just as an old thread PUNT... aFe (now owning Pfadt) is shipping me out a new passenger side header since mine has always been resting on the starter.

Class act I say, after waiting patiently a year and a half, and even new ownership.

Bumping this back up.

How did the new header fit? Did they do a redesign so other people don't run into this problem?

Figured it was a Corvette related company. You Corvette guys are too high class for a guy like me who drinks Natural Light and orders Summit Racing parts from a toilet I have sitting on my front porch while the wind blows around my magnificent mullet.

They actually make a ****-LOAD of different parts now, including resurrecting Pfadt's entire lineup, including suspension parts. They treated my quite well.

As for the primary lengths, I really don't remember. They're MUCH longer than your typical 4-1 Header though.

I sold them when I traded in the C5 for the wife's CTS-V.

I don't care about midrange power with the 427 so I'll be going back to a 4-1 header, more than likely Texas Speed at this point. I'm so beyond DONE paying $1500+ for headers for what, an additional 5hp? Like I said, I've got an LS7. I could actually stand to LOSE a little down low. Tires for this thing aren't cheap.
