Default tb and intake issues

Yeah. Hey I have an edelbrock pro Flo intake on a 5.3. Im doin a swap in my older pickup truck. Also I have a FAST 90mm tb. When I went on to bolt the tb on I had alignment issues. I mean I have the top 2 bolt holes line up great the lower right doesn't mate up all the way to clear and the lower left u can't see the bolt hole PERIOD. I have the 7139 intake. My tb is for a ls1 not ls2. I called edelbrock and told them about it and the guy said send him some pics and I did n no feedback or response. Has anyone else had this problem. I thought all the tbs had the same mounting points regardless of intake u use. I see edelbrock tbs on fast intakes y not the other way around. Tried to attach pics from my smartphone to this comment but cant

O really what have you come up with? I was told to drill out the lower bolt holes. Either that or buy an edelbrock tb. This is crazy and doesn't make any sense.

Here's what it says on the Edelbrock website about the Pro-Flo intake manifolds..
" Accepts Pro-Flo XT throttle body #3869/#38693 or adapter #2737 and standard LS1 throttle bodies."

S10junkie thats sounds like a great plan to follow. 99bluz28 u r right but here's my thing if u have an intake that has a 90mm opening for a tb and u have a 90mm tb u should b able to bolt it straight up with no problem. It doesn't make sense to me if I use A intake I have to use A tb or if I use B intake I have to use B tb. I should b able to use either or. I seen edelbrock elbows with nick Williams tbs I seen FAST intakes with holley tbs.

another option, if you dont have a welder available, i talked to my father in law that is a machinist for the government, noone really knows what he does haha he said i could find a aluminum bolt, loctite it in the hole, and file it smooth to the face of the intake, let it set up real good, then drill/tap the new hole, you could also use brass

A machinist for the govt! Sounds like top echelon assassin lol. I tried to line up my tb and the lever on my tb doesn't line up with the throttle bracket. Idk I look at it again it mite line up with the circle part for a lokar cable to go through. I will try the loctite
