When I was researching about fabbing my own duals with those type of kits, I kept running across a consensus that they need some work due to the angles of the collectors under the car. Unless you're able to cut/weld, then they might be more hassle than the savings would be worth over, for instance, TSP duals.

Do you already have the mufflers that you 'll be using for your setup?

someone sells brand new true dual kits on ebay specifically for 4th gen fbody for a decent price.
Kit comes with or without mufflers.

Search for "camaro true dual".

The Summit kits are a good starting point but you will need to cut and fit the pipes to make them work properly.

I personally owned (but never installed) the PHAB kit. Great looking kit, polished stainless 3". Just remember you need to buy hangers and mufflers (and cats if you're going that route).

Default pipes

I bought a kit from Pypes ,the whole system dumped at rear axle ,super nice system ,and the car ran great very happy with it not loud until you step down on it.Now the problem I had with my 4th gen ,I bought a new torque arm aftermarket with it's own front mount to take the strain off my trans ,and had to scrap my whole system because my x pipe was right where the front mount for torque arm went and had no room to clear just make sure whatever you buy will work wasn't expecting to put another whole system on it with a few month old new system

I looked into these and even bought one of the stamped Magnaflow X-pipes for my exhaust project. In the end I ended up just making my own X-pipe. Used a couple 45* bends, made a couple cuts then welded them together. They came out nice and probably flow better than the universal kits. If you have a buddy that can cut and weld, they aren't too hard to do. Plus you can make them any angle you need to.
