Default EBAY Catch Can

Has anyone ran this on their LS1? Wondering if it was a solid catch to buy.

I'm not to worried about getting it on. Just worries me how good is the quality if they don't even include a guide.

I made a catch can out of PVC joints, pipe fittings, and steel wool that works really well. Would have to be a pretty shitty made product to not get the job done haha

I've only had one bad transaction involving engine parts from eBay. I bought a magnetic drain plug for my four-wheeler ( 700xx ) and it didn't even fit, it was probably an 1/8th in diameter too small.

I'd probably never trust anything from eBay that said it offered protection for my engine. I'd probably just buy the Saikou Michi can.

I bought that same catch can. It worked, there is nothing inside it. I am sure a little of the vapors can get by. It did collect oil. I would make one out of pvc next time.

There is a guy local to me that made a catch can out of a Venom energy drink bottle. It's purple and matches the theme of his car well.

Get a good one....most on the market will have blow-by so what's the point. Rx performance, saikou michi are both very good. Get something with a PCV valve built in so nothing can get past it......I believe the mightymouse CC has one as well.

Hope you didn't buy that can yet. I bought one and it was terrible. Nothing inside of it and not even an extended snorkel, both fitting just dead end right as they enter the can. Also the view tube fittings leak like crazy. Some oil mist might collect but you're better of with a air/oil separator from harbor freight than that ebay can. I run HF can on my Saturn and an RX can on my Monte Carlo. I was looking for a Saiku Mitchi but the RX one came up local on craigslist so I picked it up.

Just buy a Norris and be done with it. All sorts of testing has been done on CorvetteForum... multiple pics of cans cut apart and how they work. The Norris is one of the best.

For Forced Induction, I'd do a MightyMouse can without a second thought.

Interesting arrangement.

Look up "1997-2013 CORVETTE BILLET OIL CATCH CAN SEPARATOR SATIN SILVER" on eBay . . .
