1 7/8 are a waste of time unless your car NEEDS it.

Got money? Get Kooks
Don't got money? Get Speed Engineering.

**** man...Unless your gonna pop the hood and represent them for years to everyone...I wouldn't spend the money on Kooks..
Tsp has stainless that are cheaper, my pacesetters have been on the car for 3+ year with no sign of rust.

I disagree with that. The 1 7/8" headers have been dyno proven to gain hp over the 1 3/4" even on a stock LS1.

Don't see how it would be a waste of time if he's installing headers anyways.

If ground clearance is an issue then nearly all the long tubes will scrape. Even the Xth revision of the SLP.

I know they do not get mentioned alot but the MAC headers work pretty good as do the BBK. Not too bad for the price. Sometimes the bbk needs an additional piece to hook them to your exhaust depending on what it is, but not that difficult.
As far as the higher end headers...dynatech fit VERY well. They do not get alot of mentions either.

Pacesetters can make changing spark plugs a bit more of a hassle. The bbk are a bit better in that area.

He said..."the best headers" in my opinion u have to go with KOOkS 17/8. Now for a lowered car of 2"+ like my car is, then I would go with the SPEED ENGINEERING Race version like I did. GREAT CLEARENCE!!!!

All stainless isnt created equal. I remember a while back about quite a few threads from quite a few people buying some cheap stainless headers from a guy working out of his garage in the...Dallas area? He had them on ebay all day long, but his customers soon found out that fact. He was flying under the radar on here for the most part. It did not end nicely.

They are only a waste if you can fit 2"!!!! YEAH!

There are some modifications you may or may not have to do to make them fit. If you have a tubular x member you shouldnt have issues though.
