Default Mufflex catback opinions needed

I'm looking for anyone's feedback on the Mufflex 3.5" catback with spin tech muffler and dual outlet. Here are my questions:
over all opinion or sound and quality?
Volume?
Is the 3.5" system necessary for a 440 rwhp set-up or overkill? Go 3" or 4"?
What is the best alternate to this system?
What is ground clearance like?
Is hard finding any info on this set up - not many clips on youtube either. If anyone has an useful links please let me know. Thanks.
Andrew

It's a nice system. I run the 4" w/3.5" outs and Spintech on my blown LT1 car.

Sounds is deep without rasp but it's not quiet by any means. Dynomat is your friend.

Ground clearance isn't really any different than any other catback. Might take a little adjusting of the over the axle pipe since it's huge but it fits with the stock panhard setup. The muffler is pretty thick and you will likely see it from the back of a Camaro but on a TA it's hidden.

Not sure on best alternate. I went from a dumped TD setup to this because the drone on the duals was driving me nuts at 70 mph.

Only real con is it's not stainless like the rest of my exhaust. Oh well.

IMO, not overkill at all!
At 440rwhp you're at the point to really be considering the 4" over the 3.5". If 440rwhp is the power level you're 500% sure you're stopping at then get the 3.5 (if you want), otherwise get the 4".

I've always liked the Mufflex system, but I never felt like spending the money. A friend of mine ran their 4" with Flowmaster on his IROC long ago -- it sounded great. Hawk's sells their own version sans muffler ("Sinister") if looking to save some money.

That Stainless Works 3.5 system looks nice, looks just like the SLP SS duel/duel factory system, Wonder how it sounds
