traction control system Lately on my T/A, when i'm driving my tcs turns off and i cannot switch it back on. When i restart the car i can use my switch to turn it on and off fine. My car will start going at a higher rpm out of first gear than traction control will be stuck on off. Only thing i knew to do so far was to check the switch and it seemed alright. I also checked my TCS BAt fuse for the hell of it and it was fine. This issue just started any suggestions?
Seems like what happens when TCS fails to gain control.
Seen it when I was playing around with fooling the system
by bypassing the "gizmo" on the throttle cable.
The TCS pulls spark, then throttle, then applies ABS. If
throttle relax is not being felt, the "gizmo" or what commands
it is probably the problem. If you feel the pullback, stay in it
and ABS never applies, then look to the ABS and its link to
the TCS "brain". But you'd think that there would be an ABS
light as well if that was failing.
