SLP Ram Air - impacts cold A/C??

SLP Ram Air - impacts cold A/C?? OK so I have one of those dopey SLP ram air tin boxes that sits in back of the raditor and AC evaporator and forces HOT air into the throttle body...
Would this cause the AC to freeze up and stop blowing cold air. When this happens I turn the AC off for a few minutes and it blows cold again?

low refirgerant is usually the cause of the A/C freezing up.......because the freon is low the pressure is also low which allows the freon to expand too much and cool too quickly which causes the freezing over of the coils

I had the SLP cold air kit on my 98 and the AC still worked fine. I did notice my coolant temp was a little bit higher after putting this on though, probably because it blocked part of the rad.
I found the SLP cold air kit to be completely useless though, no performance gain at all. I should've bought the Fast toys ram air back then.

I have no problems and I think it's a great mod.
Actually, it's stainless steel.
The evaporator is located by the firewall and cools the air entering the passenger compartment.
Not sure where you got that idea, but this unit is IN FRONT OF the radiator and condenser, which means it pulls COOL air into the throttle body (unless you're going in reverse, and/or your fans are running backward).
Sorry, I honestly don't mean to be a smart@ss, just wanted to be sure we got all the facts strait.
