braided stainless hose insulation

Hi, quick question, IM using braided stainless fuel hoses in my car, and I have seen people cover them with a foam insulation to keep them from rubbing into the frame or body or whatever they may touch. Can anyone point me in the direction of some kind of foam insulating sleave?

Why not a piece of heater hose split lengthwise and pulled over it?

As long as the hose is mounted correctly it shouldn't really be moving against any surfaces.

There's no real need to protect the hose; that's what the steel braiding is for. However, there is a real need to protect anything the braid comes in contact with.

That would work. I thought I've seen a foam cover too. I just can't remember what it was from.

IMO, if it won't be to close to the exhaust you can use some flex loom, which you should be able to get in the automotive section of just about any store.
