Yea has a cone filter for the street on it.

How much bigger is the new cam? Curious how much alone was from the 4" intake setup.

I'm going to try to do this before I come up for the tune in August. I assume I'll need 3" tubing though since I'm running a LS6 intake and stock TB.

I had my ram air and know it picked up. Always wanted on like this you guys beat me to it. I know this ram air style flat works. Guess I will be a copy cat but on a Camaro. Time to get to my buddy's tig! . Shane what's samsel NA numbers? Edit. Idk how I would hide a air filter behind my billet grille. Going to get creative I suppose.

If you look in my avatar you can barely make out the velocity stack poking out the catfish mouth on the pass. side.

Martin, am I correct in thinking I'll need 3" tubing with a stock TB?

You can do a 4" to 3" reducer which is what I would do personally.

How do you guys think this 4" Velocity stack Intake system would work on a 11.1 347ci LS1 with Super Victor intake, Accufab 4150 t/b, and Extreme Velocity 4150 Carb Hat.

It would work!! Myself was never a big fan of the lid. But myself at this time have a sux2bu style ram air and defiantly worked and the car picked up. This style with it going directly to the TB or carb works well. Reason prostock cars have giant hood scoops with air pans. If your a max effort kinda guy then doing something like that is beneficial.

It's max effort nitrous 347ci

I only have 2 options at this point, cut the extended Sunoco hood by the windshield and add an air pan or a setup like this. I've read on here and been told by other that with a 4150t/b an air bell and air pan are the only way to go. I'd rather not cut a 4"-5" notch in the hood if I don't have to, I'm just worried about the hat hurting performance.

I think with the 4150 hat you'll be fine. Only one way to find out for sure though and you won't know until you try it.

On my car it was worth almost a tenth and almost a full mph in the 1/8th. In the 1/4 it would of shown an even larger improvement.

So are there any plans to produce a few dozen of these and sell?
