It's just the runners that swap. You can buy them separate.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but these runners are only for the LSXr intake. And only for LS3/L92 runners shown so far, LS1 "coming soon". I can't find anything beyond the teaser from PRI and the press release on their site. I could use a set of short LS1 runners today for the LSXrt...

I hear it's going to be about 6 months until they are even available so I wouldn't hold your breathe.

MSD intake should be ready soon; before the different length FAST runners anyway. No clue on the third intake option.

I'm thinking about sectioning my LSXrt runners and making them about 2/3rds length. I was looking at them earlier today and I don't see any reason why I can't. The runners are nylon and easily welded or bonded. It's particularly easy with the LSXrt since the runners are already so straight.

If it was that easy we'd be doing it already. Maybe it would work, but I think having the horn shape on the end is vital.

I believe I read somewhere that this has been done before. Actually, if I remember right, it was Ed Curtis making a comment to another person regarding modifying the individual runners.

Yes that's why he used the term sectioning...removing a piece from the middle section instead of simply cutting off the end.

Yep. Remove the part between the "seam" behind the horn down to roughly where the attachment point is near the middle. Stick the air horn back on and port the inside to fix any mis-match. I bet it would work...but not sure I'm willing to try.
