Default Msd airforce strike and Fast strike back !!!!!

What an awesome time to be in the market for intake manifold I am really excited to look over the results that will comes after puting these intakes at the dyno ring .
The fast broght a new multi purpose iintake that will support 7000+ rpm power band and if you changed the direction of your target you don't loose your intake just swap the runner and thats it .
Msd on the other hand claimed a huge increase in power vs another ported version of other aftermarket intake !! We know what msd mean by saying that ooops if any one cant figure that.

here is the new fast intake

That's freakin' awesome! Makes me think that the cost of a FAST isn't so high after all. They've obviously invested in product development.

So will there be an option to buy a new FAST 102 intake with either the medium or short (race) runners?

Wouldn't you need a custom cam to really take advantage of the shorter runners? Just like you need a different cam to get good results with a single plane intake.

You're probably right. Maybe not so much with the medium length ones, but likely with the short ones.

True. It would be optimized, but there's still power to be had. More air in = more more power out.

I myself would get the medium runners, have a cam spec'd for them, and call it good.

I only see a LS3/L92 option. Does anyone know if the FAST will be available for cathedral port setups? I really hope so. Short runner or medium runner for me.

On the website, under "news" they have an article there. It says LS1 & LS7 versions coming soon. I'm sure it'll be quick.

I don't understand why they'd release it for the LS3 first, considering it was the worst performing and probably the lowest sales volume...

I'd imagine because it's the current engine in the Corvette, Camaro, SS and a boatload of Holdens.

Oh I know. But it was also the worst performer. Seems counter intuitive to me. Eh, who am I though at the end of the day.

I would be all over that clear one if they made a California smog legal one, but I'm sure they wont.
