K&N FIPK Filter Replacement
Currently running the K&N FIPK that was installed on my car when I bought it many years ago, however I have been experiencing the typical "over-oiling" and MAF issues despite being very careful when I cleaned/re-oiled.
Does anyone make a "dry" filter that is a plug and play in the K&N FIPK kit? I found an old thread with a link to an Amsoil filter however the link was dead and I couldn't find anything else online.
Anyone ever removed/replaced the oiled K&N filter in the FIPK?
Thanks!
If it helps, the specs on the K&N filter:

if I bought a car with one of those I would have changed it for a factory airbox, aftermarket lid, and paper filter before I changed the oil on the car...then free ram air mod or a nice ram air scoop under the airbox

onto the end of the "Oreo" MAF. Maybe this would do
what you ask. Whether what you ask is what you
really want....
